OIC is adding text at the beginning and end of a text file - why?

Hello OIC friends,

Using OIC, we are using a REST connection with PUT statement to upload a file.

I have managed to upload the file to target system using OIC. However, upon verifying file in target system, we see that some data is added at the beginning and end of file. I cant figure out why is this the case. I am a bit stuck. I can't figure out why is it doing this?

Any insight on this would be helpful. Thanks a lot.
