Access procurement approval workflows in OTBI

Hello,

Is it possible to access the requisition/order approval workflows to add into an OTBI analysis, the people that a requisition/order is pending to be approved?

    Hi,

    Have a look at subject areas

    "Human Capital Management - Approval Notification Archive Real Time"

    Real time information on completed approvals of various tasks transactions that are part of Fusion HCM. The tasks transactions comprise of various categories like compensation, payroll, core hr, absence/accrual, talent management and so on.

    "Human Capital Management - Transaction Administration Real Time"

    Provides real time information on on all BPM the transactions in the system related to HCM. Transactions that are stuck, pending, in auto recovery, error, so on are available for reporting. The transactions,details like submitted user, process category, process name, transaction status can be reported. If any issues exist during the transaction, then the user that is assigned the issue, the issue status and other details are available for reporting. Count of issues and Count of transactions are seeded metrics in the subject area.

    But I think the former includes only completed archived historic transactions not pending and the latter includes pending but does not say who are the approver(s) it may be pending with.

    Hi @Nathan CCC ,

    Thank you for your answer.

    Indeed, the "Human Capital Management - Transaction Administration Real Time" subject area, can provide you the tasks that are pending to be approved, but it doesn't provide the user to which they have been assigned, not the detail of the requisition/purchase order number (just the Object ID).

    Therefore, I can't use this information.

    Hope they implement it soon as it can provide a full view of all the procurement process and help keep track of all the transactions.

    Hi Sara - did this ever get resolved? I'm in the same boat, looking for an otbi report showing the current assigned approver for purchase requisitions.

    Try creating a report from : Procurement - Requisitions Real Time subject Area

    Add Columns:

    Requisition Number
    Requisition Status
    Current Approver Name
    Approval Status

    Filter by Pending Approvals to show only requisitions awaiting action.

    I dont see that as an available subject area. I have the Procurement Manager and Buyer roles.

    Any ideas? Should I check my data access and re-run LDAP?

    We dont find the Current Approver Name in the subject area - Procurement - Requisitions Real Time.

    Any solution on this requirement ?

    The Procurement - Requisitions Real Time subject area does not seem to expose the Current Approver Name directly.

    1. Using Transaction Console

    The Transaction Console in Oracle Fusion allows you to view the current approver for requisitions.
    You can manually check the approval status there, but it may not be available for reporting.

    2. BI Publisher Query for Approval Details

    You can retrieve the current approver using a BI Publisher report with a SQL query.
