OAC-Simple workbook not displayed on language switch
Hello,
I have a simpleOAC workbook with one canvas (one dashboard filter + one table). It was created having English as principal language in Google Chrome.
When I switch the Chrome language to French the workbook doesn't open (the page is empty, the Modify button doesn't work).
I change back to English and replaced all the letters with accent in headers/filters: é to e, à to a etc , saving and returning to French. Same thing, nothing is diplayed. I have no french character now.
On the other hand I have another workbooks more complex(8 canvases with more than 10 visualisations on each canvas) that are well displayed in both languages.
What exacly happen with my simple workbook? I must convert it and if yes how can I do it? I want that the wokbook displays well no matter of Chome language configuration.

Hi Daniel,
This issue may need further investigation and troubleshooting. I think you may give it a try via raising an SR with Oracle Support.

Known issue, a fix apparently exist. Do as Tetyana mentioned and go through a SR to get it fixed.
Oh, my bad, you are actually already in that thread and therefore you are aware it's a known issue :)

If there is a fix for that please let me know. I must do something? We didn't create a SR for this problem yet.

Hi,
We are facing this issue and many users from other country or region facing errors when they switch from english to their native language.
Just to check is this language switch issue is fixed by now in May 2025 update ,if not can we have the existing SR created for the same as reference for us .
